HALLOWEEN!!!

What do you do when you don't anyone or know where anything is?!

SIMPLE!

You stay at home, hang a NO-CANDY HAPPY HALLOWEEN sign, light the candles in your uniquely carved pumpkins, and watch a football game. U of O vs. USC baby! You better know who won... Rosebowl here we come!

Carving Pumpkins!

It's that time of year!!!Since I was a little girl I have always looked forward to the fall. The leaves change color, the air chills, the trees get an autumn smell to them, and of course it means that it is time to carve pumpkins!!!

And of course, who wouldn't be jealous of a pre-carve fashion show!!!

Curt and I got a good head start on Chris and Ashton. LOL. We were the excited ones!!!
Ashton concentrating hard on tracing out his picture.

Chris was very disgusted. Prevouis to carving pumpkins he was trying to bribe me to "de-gut" his. Thanks in part to the dad, Chris was a big boy! :D

Ashton and Chris "de-gutting" their pumpkins. They did such a great job. So PROUD of you boys!!!

Once your pumpkins are clean then the hard part comes. *Getting to decide what you want to carve* For Chris and I we decided simply out of our heads. Curt and Ashton, our little cheaters! ;) Chose from things around the house like a Rootbeer box and sculptures!!! I'm kidding guys, they turned out great.

See, there he is! Getting caught cheating off the box!!! :D

I liked the idea of stars. So I just added different things as I went.

We considered carving my sweet Chris like a little pumpkin too! ;)

The stars were cut out perfect! Curt actually put one on the back of his pumpkin! What a sport.

All-in-all, our pumpkins turned out so cool and all so unique! We took pictures of all them except Ashton's (he wasn't done yet)! In order... Mine, Chris's cool eye, and Curt's Rootbeer puppy!

Thanks for such a great night!
We had a blast.

It's Where We Call HOME!

OUR NEW HOME!!

On a daily basis we found ourselves on the computer looking for a place, two states away. After all the problems with fraud, high prices, super-low prices, and icky places, we landed somewhere in between! After looking for almost a whole month we found this cute place with an amazing landlord!

This is the back yard and patio... It needs a little TLC. :D Give me some feedback or good ideas of what to do with it. I was thinking of a garden. (or just leaving it!) ha ha

For all of you who ever saw my "empty" picture frames. I finally finished them! (Jessica will be so so proud!) The dried flowers are from my hike to Naomi Peak this last summer. They turned out great!

After much deliberation on how to arrange the living room it turned out pretty cute. I have learned that sometimes it's just easier to say yes to the man! LOL.... (depending on the topic) :D

Across the stairs in the hallway is our half bath, it's cute and decorated! I didn't want to take a picture of it. :)

In the kitchen we have access to the patio. The only wish I had.... was ALOT more cupboard space. So we just made the best of what we had.

I was so so proud of myself! :D We have some big windows in our new home, So the first week we were here I made new curtains! The black ones in the living room are made from a really nice bedskirt and the red and brown ones in the stairwell are made from a fabric curtain. Waste not, want not!!! LOL

I didn't take a picture of second bedroom, it is clean just nothing to see! It is our BIG BIG walk-in closet! :D Thank you Jamie D!

The master bathroom doesn't have much counter space, due to the oversized shower!!! LOL It's nice though.

Last Camping Trip

!!!CAMPING!!!
We both love the mountains! Thankfully we are somewhere where we can still escape from time to time. I wanted to thank Julie and Randy Sanders for putting a camping trip together for us before we left. Thunderstorm and all, we both loved every minute of it. So here are a few pictures of that fun over-nighter! Starting with our amazing camp hosts! LOL... Chris's mom, Julie and her amazing hubby Randy Sanders. Thank you guys!
Julie and I ... WE LOVE HER!!!

Jenni, Jesse, and Daxton. Thanks for coming guys!

He's a "cheeser"! I guess he thinks he has to be when his girl is taking pictures of EVERYTHING!!! Love you babe!

... so Chris had disappeared for a little while. When we found him, he was doing this!

Good picture idea. Thanks Julie. :D

Last picture before it got too dark to take "good" pictures!

Chris brushing his teeth. Atleast he had a spare in his truck and didn't have to use mine.

MMM... breakfast! So yummy!

Thank you again for the trip! We all had so much fun!

We recently moved to Springfield, Oregon. We came here for school and being closer to my dad, Curtis Summers, was just a really big bonus. Do to family request, I see that this is a perfect way to post pictures and recent events to keep them informed and very much in our lives from so far away. So this is for you, our families, now you can see what we are up to! (Just remind me to post pictures!!! ;) ). We love you all and miss everyone like crazy.
